Easy Smoothie Recipes!


Smoothies are great for topping up on essential nutrients! It's important to know, however, that you should keep as much variety in the ingredients that you're eating so aim to try news ones regularly!

You always want to get a wide variety in your diet to get the benefits from all of the nutrients. Try not over-do any one particular food.

Below are some really great simple smoothie recipes that I love to make once in a while. It's a nice change and it’s very refreshing!

Green Smoothie

  • 1 apple (chopped and seeds removed)

  • 2 cups stemmed and chopped spinach

  • ½ avocado, peeled and chopped

  • Water until smooth

Place all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!

Smoothie For The Health Focused

  • 1 banana

  • 3 to 4 strawberries

  • 1 tablespoon of honey (optional)

  • 2 tablespoons of rolled oats

  • 300 ml orange juice

In a blender, mix the ingredients. Keep in a smoothie shaker overnight.

Strawberry Green Goddess Smoothie:

  • 160g strawberries

  • 160g baby spinach

  • 1 small avocado

  • 150ml yogurt

  • 1 small oranges juiced plus ½ tsp finely grated zest

Place all ingredients into a blender, whizz until completely smooth. Drink straight away.
