Frequently asked questions
- 01Most ladies choose to wear sports leggings of some description, or shorts in the summer, with vest tops or t-shirts and sweatshirts. Men choose to wear either shorts, t-shirts and sweatshirts or jogging bottoms. Everyone needs to wear trainers, preferably with a reasonable sole. For the Kettlebell class some like to wear a barefoot style trainer. For the Fitness Pilates classes we are in socks and the grippy Pilates socks are very helpful. Whatever you choose, the most important thing is to wear something that is comfortable, allows you to move and for the more energetic classes is wicking.
- 02If you have your own Kettlebell or Dumbbell please do feel free to bring those. If not, no worries, just let us know and we are able to supply bells for you to borrow. Please bring a yoga style mat with you to the classes. Fitness Pilates, if we use additional equipment, I bring that, but please bring a yoga style mat with you.
- 03Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the class is due to start, in order that we can start on time and there are no interruptions or distractions for fellow class participants.
- 04Beginners are very welcome at all classes. All classes are suitable for all levels. We will always offer regressions and progression of exercises to suit all abilities.

- 09Public transport in rural Wiltshire is not the best way to travel to the classes. All of the community spaces have free parking available.
- 10We ask all class participants to complete a PARQ form, Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire. A short questionnaire that allows the instructor leading your class to ascertain whether it’s safe for you to attend a session, or highlight any conditions for which we may need to modify certain activities for you. We are First Aid certified so should there be an incident, we sincerely hope not, we are equipped to deal with the situation. Risk assessments will have been conducted on the venues we use.
